Be sure to visit these other sites. They offer great information and specimens with
photos. If you want to add a link to your favorite site, just send me an Email with the URL, title, and a brief description
of the site. If you have a mineral-related web page and would like to exchange links,

Non-Commercial Sites
This is without a doubt the best all-around starting place site on the web for
rockhounds and mineral collectors. Great photos, free classified ads, rockhounds
discussion group, an excellent link list, and more. OsoSoft Mineral Connection is proud to
be a commercial sponsor of this site.
Excellent organization with a new domain name. Check these folks out!
A non-profit educational site about minerals and gems. It's still growing and parts are
always under construction, but this site has great potential.
Many links and free classified ads.
Lovely mineral photos, and a nice on-line museum. Visit it!
The first web site devoted to micromounters and micromounting. In French and English.
Click the UK flag to get to the English site. Lots of information.
Information and links on fossils and minerals.
Excellent information on this most famous of Canadian localities. You owe it to
yourself to visit this web site if you have any interest in alkali-environment minerals.
The island of Elba, off the coast of Italy, is the home of many world-class specimens.
This web site, primarily a tourist-oriented site, also has many excellent mineral and mine
photos. After you reach the site, click the Nature Sport link, then the Minerali link. The
site is mainly in Italian, but the photos are in the universal language of images. It's
terrific!
I don't know if this site is new, but it's absolutely dynamite! When you go there,
you'll see a form. Leave the Feature Name field blank, then enter the State and County you
want to search, and enter the word MINE as the Feature Type and do the search. You'll see
a list of all mines in that county. Click on one and you'll get a map, like the one above,
showing its precise location. Use this with your own maps to locate mines in your area or
in an area you'll be visiting.
The home of the Rocks and Fossils Email List web site. Links, images, contests, and
more. This site is growing fast and is updated frequently. It looks to be one of the best
bets for the future.
Here's an excellent site on fossils, if that's your interest. Plenty of information on
collections, collectors, plus many links to other related sites. Drop by if fossils pull
your chain.
Another excellent resource, especially for links to other web sites. You can fill up
your hot list quickly here.
Don't miss this site, and be sure to click the links! Excellent mineral photographs!
Publications
This site has some of the nicest mineral photos around...all from the famous French
magazine, Le Regne Mineral. It's more than worth a visit.
THE U.S. magazine about minerals. This site, built by Bob Keller, includes indexes to
every issue. And there's more to come. MR is finally on line!
Mineral News is a monthly newsletter for mineral collectors. It's a must have
subscription for every collector. You'll also find Mineral Database software at this site,
along with other publications.

Commercial Mineral Dealers and Other Commercial Sites
Note: Inclusion in this list of links does not necessarily imply
an endorsement of a dealer by OsoSoft. The list is unfiltered, and merely represents links
to existing web sites. As with all online transactions, use the usual good sense when
ordering. If you have a problem with a dealer on this list, please inform me. I will
investigate and if the problem cannot be resolved, I will remove the link. Please suggest
new links and report all broken or changed links by Emailing
